Better not continue, otherwise you might continue participating in unethical consumption.

You care too much over something that is so significantly unimpactful.
Who cares? Who makes a new account just to ask this sort of leading question?
Gimmick features in general. So many android phones are just designed to be android flavors of an iPhone, removing all the character that used to be one of the benefits of not going with Apple.
I had a phone that had a built in kickstand. It was both useful for propping the phone up and as a fidget toy. My last phone had a camera that would pop up out of the top of the phone so they could put a better camera for the selfie cam while also not having a hole in the screen.
I have him tagged with “derangedposting” so I know immediately who it is when I see his comments.
I disagree and do not like your comment.
I do think it’s unreasonable that for a paying user you can’t hide the quests. I don’t want that to be pay walled, but that seems like another incentive for nitro being handed up on a silver platter.
Barring terrible company policy, those people who can’t do more than allow the AI to think for them will find themselves out of a job pretty quickly if they can’t do the work themselves.
Bad employees and stupid people will always be stupid, the newest tech isn’t the cause of that. Maybe it lowers the bar of entry a bit?
Lastly, you’re clearly gatekeeping “the ability to critically think” based on some arbitrary conditions you made up based on “how things used to be”, so to speak. Maybe you could have used your superior boomer wisdom to figure that one out.
Why do you feel that way? Seems like a fair way to contribute to a discussion without adding an entire comment to barely add anything.
This is some boomer-tier gatekeeping and just another “back in my day, things were better because…”
The people who aren’t problem solving beyond typing something into a chat bot are the same people who wouldn’t have done so before the chat bot existed.
You can absolutely find similar complaints about the internet being invented, or search engines, or any other technological expansion in the past entire human history.
Whenever copilot tells me I can’t do something I tell it how much I think Microsoft is a bunch of losers for the restrictions they’ve put in.
It doesn’t solve anything but I feel a little better after.
Why does this matter? If I disagree and dislike something, why not give me a “don’t like that” button?
I see this repeated a lot, but I’ve never experienced it or seen it in person. Just because something is repeated by reddit over and over doesn’t make it true. What I usually find is that both exist, usually with some interplay between the two. Maybe I’m just not a part of the communities that have gotten rid of their forum structure.
I hate ads as much as any other lemmy user, but quests are pretty non-invasive. I guess it’s annoying to close the popup once every so often. Nitro is still massively overpriced, but seems to only have features a normal user wouldn’t need.
I don’t like look forward to it getting worse, but I used Skype for some time after it became nearly unusable, so discord is still way better.
I make $48k biweekly and was only JUST able to buy a house.
Yes, I will only settle for a massively overpriced mcmansion, why do you ask?
Call out bullshit.

Shit post confirmed, looks like you played yourself
This is a stupid comment, I will not elaborate further why. Look at similar comments before you get a bandwagon going.
Bad VA in a language I don’t speak is still better than a good dub in most cases for me. I can separate the voice acting from reality and make it part of the character.
Bad VA in English is just so noticeable. Like, I’m not that good at hearing intent in Japanese, other than obvious emotion, but with English it often sounds like they’re trying to sound like an animated character.
Usually I’d be ‘screw apple’ for this sort of headline, but really, stealing from your friend, getting him fired, and then selling the stolen info to some dorky YouTuber is just stupid.
Get back to work so you can keep the arguments coming.
I live in a state with age verification laws.
I just go to websites that don’t follow the law.
