Different kind of melodic black metal from Norway in 2008! This song I picked is my favorite of the album overall, a slow buildup of power to spill over into explosion. Though I could just as easily recommend half of this album’s tracks for a first time listener. It’s got a modern production that frequently overlays acoustic guitars with the usual black metal fury, also dips a bit into death metal at times.
