I just hope one of the ‘spiritual successors’ is able to live up to it. I don’t want to imaging going my whole life and not experiencing something like DE again.
Yeah! The next game after Book of Hours is going to be a crpg called Travelling at Night.
Obviously AK will give it his own spin, he always does, but he’s a big fan of Disco Elysium and it would be impossible for him not to be inspired by it in some ways.
Disco Elysium. Incredible CRPG. The devs really put both feet in it.
The writing is just incredible. How can a game have more than a dozen banger lines?
And if you get a bunch of people in a room, you’ll have an argument about what they are because there’s so many.
Fuck corpos ruining ZA/UM
It’s a bit ironic that a game with such left leaning commentary got fucked over so hard by capitalists.
Ironic yes, but not very disco
Idk about ironic, I certainly expected it

I have high hopes for Travelling at Night. Weather Factory has always put out excellent work.
The one I’ve heard the most buzz about is Rue Valley, but Travelling at Night does look interesting. Thanks telling me about it.
of course!
Mait, weather factory is making a spiritual successor? That is pretty great news, I hope they deliver.
