Either way, you’re not supposed to smash the pit, just tap it with a sharp knife so that it gets deep enough into it so you can twist it out. It sounds like people are swinging their knives like swords to try to get their knives like halfway deep into the pit lol
My method is to get someone to throw the avocados at me, whilst I attempt to slice them Fruit Ninja style.
It’s not the most effective method, however it kind of sometimes works. If Dave’s throw is strong enough, it saves time spent mashing them for guacamole too.
Wouldn’t that bruise/smash the back of it? Put on an oven mitt of your aim is that bad.
