The targeting is akin to the Spear, but much faster. It will not target other Helldivers, so it’s great for helping a swarmed teammate. In “First Person” mode, it has a Holographic sight that turns green when locked on.
It is stopped by minor things like chain fences and shrubs, but you can turn off guidance. When guidance is off, it has iron sights.
It does less damage• but has more rounds per magazine than the Verdict.
•80 vs 125, but it also does Stun and can stop calls for reinforcements .
Is Helldivers fun again? I left like 6 months ago because all the nerfs and bugs.
I’ve been having a blast lately.
all the … bugs
Just go to the levels with robots or zombies then 🤷🏻♂️
Some of the nerfs were walked back, and in general the balancing seems to have found its footing.
I’ve not had any significant trouble with bugs, aside from the alien kind.
IMO yes. It’s been coming back since they released a patch like 8 months ago that buffed basically everything. I still wish primaries had more ammo though.
There are still bugs though
True, especially against the terminids.
😂
If you don’t like game breaking bugs in your interactive entertainment, stay away from helldivers 2.
I’ve played since day one and gave up on glitch free game. We have good patches and stick grenade on your bubble shield patches.
Oh I was just making a terminids being bugs pun. It actually hasn’t been that bad for me. There’s definitely been issue here and there, but nothing game breaking for me lately!
Sorry, I should have said OP and replied to the wrong thread. My bad.
It’s what makes it an arrowhead game
…and the bots can be overwhelming at times.
Especially if you don’t have much cover.
Isn’t this basically pay to win then?
Yes and no. You can find the “premium” currency by just doing normal missions.
If you go out of your way to farm for it, saving up enough to buy the war bonds doesn’t even take long. People speedrun low difficulty missions to maximize how much they get, and if you go into a lobby with high level players doing easy missions, that’s usually what they are doing. It’s faster with more people, too, since you can split up and clear the mission in like 10 minutes. People welcome additional players, too, as the super credits are shared to everyone, so no-one gets salty.
But mostly I’ve had enough to buy whatever catches my eye in the super store just playing normally. I’ve only grinded super credits once, for like an hour, when I needed a little more for the newest warbond. It was fun, even. Had a nice chat with the strangers in the lobby, and got a break from the sweaty high-difficulty missions.
And, nothing in the warbonds or superstore (armors aren’t just cosmetic, they have buffs/debuffs) is universally more powerful than what you get without spending super credits.
If you just play using the base game equipment, you wont be underpowered compared to other players.
It isn’t as good as you’d think, doesn’t do a ton of damage and shoots slow for a side arm from what I’ve heard
Mini jar?
Basically, yes
