Lewis Hamilton cut a dejected figure after Qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, with the seven-time World Champion dropping out in Q2 and Ferrari team mate Charles Leclerc taking pole position.
Yup. There was a time when Ferrari was untouchable with objectively the best car. Hamilton (McLaren/Mercedes at the time) was the only one in the field who would regularly give Schumacher a run for his money. Everyone else was happy with third.
What are you talking about? Schumacher retired from Ferrari in 2006, Hamilton came into F1 in 2007. And when Schumacher came back with Mercedes, he only had 1 Podium before retiring again.
when the other driver is consistently faster and even gets to pole position while you can’t even get out of q2 or q3 (last weekend)… then its time to realize that isn’t all about the machinery.
Yes, yes you are. Sorry folks but without his shiny silver arrow, he is just another driver.
he used to be better than this. and it wasn’t just because he had a better car. he used to be a better driver.

My memory must be going. i confused him with Kimi raikkonen? I’m not even sure now lol.
Yeah I think you’re thinking of Raikkonen
This is F1 in a nutshell. The pool of drivers are all pretty good but they don’t really matter. Its all about the engineering and money.

I don’t disagree, but his teammate did put it on pole. The driver has some impact.
