I’m now running it and it’s beautiful!
Honestly yeah, I like it. The richer and expanded coloring is super nice imo.
I’m also loving the new animations. They make everything feel snappier and smoother.
Agreed, it’s made my 3 year old Pixel 7 look and feel like new.
I’m not sure if it’s new but the text editing and moving the cursor has a magnifier now like iOS. Love it!
That’s been there for a minute.
I got one question… Can it run Linux?
Ships with the new terminal, so I’d assume so
Clarified… Can I delete Android and use Linux only.
That’s a weird question to ask under a post about an Android update. To answer anyway, the answer is probably yes - there is a GSI variant of Ubuntu Touch now, and there are projects that make your phone always boot into a GSI. If you combine these two things, you should get a Pixel that always boots into Ubuntu Touch.
Without telling Google everything I do and uploading all my photos to their gallery?
Well, for that you can also get degoogled android on there, which is probably a better solution
I think so
