Wow, this is a really left field one. Don’t get me wrong, Dessalines is an Imperialist simp fuckwit, but he’s usually a lot more subtle that just unironically banning someone for expressing that murdering the mentally disabled and blindly listening to authoritarian rule is bad.

      blindly listening to authoritarian rule

Their latest line of narrative (among the Tankie Triad in general) is that there’s “no such thing as authoritarianism” and that it’s entire definition was “made up by the West”

That explains the post I saw the other day that was saying all states are authoritarian, which I’ve been wondering about a lot. Being pro-anarchy I kind of fuck with the idea, but then also what words do we have left to distinguish between better and worse forms of state? Makes sense if it was an intentional attempt to destroy the word’s meaning.

I’m very curious about you being pro-anarchy. Can you go into detail about what that means?

I think that an anarcho-communist society is best in terms of each individual’s freedom and ability to prosper. I think governments can be good, but are inherently vulnerable to corruption and are therefore not good to have in the long term. I do support bettering the governments we have now though, because I don’t think they’re going anywhere any time soon.

That’s a difficult question to answer in that the answer is enormous. What does today’s society look like? You could write a whole book about it.

It’s also difficult in that I don’t feel I have enough education or experience to endorse specific policies.

In vague terms it would look like how open-source projects are run, with people collaborating on tasks that need doing because they genuinely care about getting them done in way they consider proper, rather than being forced to do tasks in order to live. Leadership would be determined collaboratively rather than enforced, and only personal property would be a valid form of ownership.

A common objection is that some people will simply lie about without contributing anything to society, and I have no doubt that’s true, but I also don’t care. I’d rather work hard to grow apples for everyone, including a few lazy people, than work hard to grow apples for a wealth-hoarder who actively harms people.

Sounds like what Afghanistan was prior to the rise of the taliban. How will this society manage to defend itself?
