I unloaded so many recoilless rifle rounds into a single Leviathan. No matter which weakspot I hit, it never went down. Hell, I’ve hit them with the orbital cannons multiple times, and still never had an effect. Their armor needs a heavy rework. Honestly they are the most bullshit vehicle enemy I have dealt with yet after 300 hours of play. I’ve just given up, and run away from them now. Don’t think that’ll go so well on the less-populated cities, where there aren’t skyscrapers to block their line of sight- so I guess I’ll deal with that issue when it presents itself.
You either have to hammer the main neck joint, or you expose a weak point with anti tank (wings, engine rings) and then heavy pen can follow up. Keep hitting the exposed area, and they’ll drop within 6 recoilless rounds, 4 spears, ~10-14 anti tank shells, or 2 recoilless and whatever you follow up with.
They aren’t really worth the fight, but we’ll see what the future holds.
