    my inner pessimist wonders if this is enough to help the cubans and how long it will take for the americans to figure out a way to impose their blockade on the skies as well.

      This is just one of many solutions being actively worked on with Cuba’s allies.

      From what I have investigated, their main issue is the energy crisis which affects all of their industrial sector and to mitigate that China/Russia are working with Cuba to develop more solar farms to reduce Cuba’s oil usage. It will take time but I am confident that in the long run Cuba will grow prosperous as the US/EU blockade dwindle.
