I’ve lived all across Canada and I never heard of science fairs here either. I thought it was a made up thing for movies for the longest time. It seems so bizarre. Job fair… we did have that but they were either all government officials from different branches or company people from school sponsors. Occasionally you’d have big local companies that would donate a ton of shit for a tax write off and then in some creepy weird Company Man shit the school would invite them to enlist students to join their work force.
