If Newsome and others are successful in their defense/cases on this, Trump can say “they did it, so I can do it” in 2028 (giving the media their sane washing angle to investigate and content create about). If the governors he goes after are unsuccessful - he’ll further prove his absolute power.
It’s win win.
171·6 hours agoYeah there’s been a lot of Kowtowing to Trump. During the election he should have been discussed as an Authoritarian backed by billionaires with a radical plan to drastically change America.
The media’s job is to let people know. Smaller, online media outlets did a better job at that than large mainstream media companies.
The Leopards Ate My Face phenomena is in part caused by the mainstream media.
Trump is backed by billionaires whose new model for America is a bunch of distributed states, with different areas that are ruled by those billionaires who will become monarchs.

0·4 months agoFirefox on android keeps turning it’s “Data Collection” options on. I’m no longer able to trust it. The company is starting to show signs of rot.
This is populist violence and outrage that would be better directed in an organised bus-to-washington program that would only attract the politically committed (and ideally more disciplined).
They could be briefed on the bus.
