I ended up reinstalling without Win 10 and it still isn’t finding it. I’ll have to check on a toggle later

How would I check on that?
Hmm, after reinstalling, it still doesn’t boot, even without Win 10
I can access all the files via booting from USB, so maybe that’s just the route I go then
I decided to go with Linux mint. After installing it alongside windows, it won’t boot into either. If I reboot from my USB stick, it says that maybe it’s too far away from the start of the drive to be detected. But I believe there is some intel /hp stuff that includes some kind of boot that might also be interfering. Does anyone have a good way forward from here?

She had, however, paid for a membership for some of the extra perks it gives you, so dunno if we would have matched otherwise.

I used bumble and found my now wife. My advice is to do it like a background task while you are also doing other things, so you’re not desperate you can evaluate people there better.
It has three entries in gparted. “/dev/sda1” is “grub core.img” and is 1.00 MiB. “/dev/sda2” is fat32 and is 513 MiB and “/dev/sda3” is ext4 and is 237.97 GiB.
