Yep, that’s how the new one is getting HDMI. They’ve collaborated with several of the major hardware guys and put it all together in a pretty package at a cheaper price then doing it myself. I already have a bunch of hardware, this is just a splurge.

Maybe I’m an idiot, but I ordered one when they announced it. I have 2 perfectly good C64s already but the CRT whine drives my dog and kid nuts, so looking forward to HDMI!

Depends on the game/publisher. Depending on the anticheat it can be as simple as enabling Linux/Proton support on the dev’s side with a flag.

I can’t play Destiny 2 with my Destiny obsessed friend, that’s about all I’ve been impacted. Didn’t really get into it anyway. I don’t even check ProtonDB anymore before buying new games, they almost all work flawlessly these days.

I was a two pack a day Navy punk. Met her at a friends house with a large group of folks, and at some point she mentioned she could never date a smoker. On the way home I picked up a pack of patches and spent the next few weeks quitting. We started seriously dating about a year later and beyond the occasional cigar/cigarette socially while drinking (like once a year if that) I’ve been smokeless. This was 2006.

Why would I resent her for my choice?

I love these games, but the fan service scenes sprinkled through like that are cringey as all hell. At least I never knew about this one, I bathed my Snake regularly.
