I’m not really sure it’s a “news flash” that these people aren’t particularly “sharp”.

Got me a Civic Sport at the end of '24 just before they dropped the manual. It’s great. No cellular, no subscription features, nothing. Just a nice car with good handling and a gear lever.

Had to get something new, (thanks Ford for making water pumps that instantly nuke engines when they fail because they’re driven by the timing system inside the timing cover #@^% you Ford) and since used car prices were SO insane I got a new Civic- a 2024 with a 2 liter and a six speed manual.

Sure, it’s “keyless” but dang it, it sure seems like a pretty great little car. Port injected even, so no ruined/carbon’ed up valves for me.

I hear the new ones don’t offer a manual any more unless you buy an SI/R? That sucks.

Do you actually use 8 workspaces? I’d lose things constantly with 8. I like KDE a lot but always bump in to some wacky bug like my addiction to casually playing WoW a few nights a week always stops me.
Can make it work fine in Gnome but in KDE it’s a shit show and the only info I can find is people saying “it’s a weird bug in KDE” without info on how to fix it which isn’t terribly helpful.

I work a salaried full time job that provides me absolutely zero health care coverage of any kind. I’m on the ultra-budget tier of healthcare.gov benefits and my taxes get brutalized every spring because I “earn too much” to be on it.

Given the opportunity I would gladly push a guillotine around town, and when that’s done I’d push it toward the state capitol and beyond. That opportunity will never come.
