If you’re not willing to show your face to do your job, that’s a good sign you are well aware what you’re doing is wrong.

Well that’s the understatement of the century 😏
Ok the article actually called her ICE Barbie… very nice.
Wow, I hadn’t even thought about that. Excellent point!!
The fact that this conversation is even necessary is to me more scary.
I used to think the Bush era was bad. I’d gladly trade that for now.
Or at home. It’s not unusual for me to spend several hours at home on a Saturday.
And discord. For fucks sake I hate when a project has replaced a forum with discord. They are not the same thing.
Hopefully that half will go out of business.
Being that it’s a known game and this is a sequel you may very well be right.
What the fuck?!? Why do these nazi’s have such a hard on for Greenland?
I mean I understand that with the melting ice, there are strategic shipping lanes and some rare elements that you’d get with Greenland but for fucks sake we can’t just take it because it’s the new hotness.
This cop needs fired immediately.
Also very true. I’ll just wait.
But what they don’t take into account is that 75% all at once creates an excitement buzz around the game that ends up causing even more sales then would ever happen otherwise. Look at games like Pokémon go or PalWorld that generated so much buzz. I tried both of them because of the hype and I normally wouldn’t have bothered otherwise.
I’m 54 and my backs hurts when I’ve been doing lots of physical activities I don’t normally do, like digging or anything not upright for several hours. But this pain is more inconvenient than anything. Like it’s uncomfortable to sleep, a sudden sharp thing like my body is saying “don’t do that dumbass!”, or more like sciatica and taking a shit hurts.
What your describing is definitely not normal and should be looked at for sure.
Yeah I’ve been reading up on this and it’s just stupidly wasteful.
I know this isn’t super helpful right now but hear me out.
This has been many many years ago but I went through a separation for over a year, got back together, and then eventually divorced. Swore I would never put my kid through what I went through as a kid but ended up doing it anyway. Absolute worst pain I’d ever felt at the time. Lost my house, went without a car for a while. Had to move back in with my mom. Pain eventually started to subside. Met another wonderful woman. Eventually got married again. My life is way better now than what I would have been had I stayed married to my now ex. What was absolutely the most horrible thing I’d ever felt, barely even registers now.
Eventually the pain will go away. But as a therapist once told me, the only way to get over the pain is to go through it. In 20 years, you’ll barely remember it.
For all the harm that this current AI craze has caused with its excessive power usage, I don’t get how water usage is a thing. I’ve been in many data centers with water cooled systems and they were all closed loop systems. The water was a heat transport mechanism. The weren’t using fresh water to gather the heat and then just dumping it on the ground. So how is this a problem?
I would take it one step further and say they (founding fathers) were possibly even atheists, or at the extreme, very agnostic theists with the idea that IF god does exist, he doesn’t care or bother about us (which of course is deism). It would have been very unpopular back then to say god doesn’t exist, so deism was a step in that direction. Just my theory.
Sometimes I really wish the founding fathers were around to just say, “Yeah, we were all atheists when we did this America thing. It just wasn’t fashionable at the time. So this idea that American was founded on Christianity, is well, just bullshit”
I mean they were literally fleeing religious persecution. Why would they bake religion into what they were creating?
Only 😏
