If you are getting the hang of navigation anyway you could maybe do that on Photon. An alternative more modern client which i really enjoy so far with active development.

I like using !videos@lemmy.world as an alternative “frontend”/algorithm to YouTube. Could be more active, but hey there is only one way to fix that :)

Maybe only half related to marketing, but I guess for me its every ISP or mobile service provider that does stuff like having a cheap first year and it increasing after that. Its just so incredibly disingenuous. I don’t like being fooled. Have a local one now with transparent pricing even if it is more expensive than switching providers every now and then. Same with VPN, Mullvads pricing so much better compared to NordVPN which is why i also have switched.

I hate that we will never ever be able to just enjoy art, without having the thought of it being AI in our back of our brains. But remember its more hurtful for actual artist having their art being called AI, than an uninspired idiot being praised for their AI slop.

Id love to see very generic timeless type of games with less content but with the opportunity for the community to expand upon with maps/items/characters.

I would love to see a Trackmania clone. plain racing game with 4 button controls, fun physics, simple yet powerful level editor and a leaderboard.

When there are a bunch of bicycles driving (especially in the morning rush hour) and somehow they don’t crash into each other and then there are also another bunch of bicycle coming from the side but they somehow just flow right through. For some it might sound like a nightmare, but you did ask for something oddly satisfying :)

Are you using an public instance? I had hosted one myself for a year or so but google found out. And when i moved to my raspi in my apartment they did found that out too pretty quickly. Did everything as stated in the docs i believe.

500m to the cheap one and 750m to the one with the bigger selection. I walk or bike there. 3km would be too much for me i think. I would take the bus or train as i don’t have a car either, but doesn’t sound like fun.
