Horses aren’t real, but if they were I’d want them to get radiation poisoning
Ecco the dolphin
I am a time-traveling dolphin. An entity made of giant balls gave me the ability to breathe underwater, but this ability was recently stolen from me by aliens.
Sometimes I turn into a bird.

No guns, weapons. No plane tickets. No bombs or bomb making equipment. No actual real plans, just aimless searches. This guy is young. You can find a picture of this guy online (I’m not going to link it. I think these sorts of sites should be illegal tbh).
My guess:
- Mentally ill, possibly mentally disabled
- Lives with mom/dad etc, probably unemployed or unable to find a “good” job (Not a moral failing. American society is not giving many options for young adults to live “complete” lives).
- Mom/dad/whoever notices how angry he is and installs a keylogger, because they don’t want him to become a mass shooter, and he’s a grown man still on Roblox.
- Immediately confesses everything to FBI
This guy needs a mental health intervention, not jail time. I have a hard time believing he is much of a public threat since they listed all the cool stuff they found in his house in the FBI charging documents but no guns/etc. This guy didn’t have a plan.
Highly recommend this podcast episode from Reveal: Lessons From a Mass Shooter’s Mother
how am I supposed to pretend straight relationships are healthy and normal when they go and do shit like this? when you gotta come up with new words to describe your relationships like “quaternary” you know jesus isn’t present here
(this post is 100% joke)

Life expectancy has improved recently to 50-60yrs old for them according to a quick search. I don’t think there’s a dilemma here at all. I wouldn’t want a disease that decreases my lifespan.
Those things aren’t too bad unless they need repair/replace…meanwhile you are recommending a solution that starts at like $2500 that only works while you’re in the bed.
Most of the USA has HVAC, but not everyone. I grew up without it. We had in-window units and box fans. You get used to it quickly.
I’m sorry, I’m just not seeing this as anything but an expensive luxury (that doesn’t have physical buttons unless u paid???). Seems pretty silly to pretend its anything but that.
Especially for couples where one runs hot and the other runs cold during the night.
Without elaborating too much, this is my situation, and we solve this by having the room cold for him and blankets for me. Actually, the situation is much better when our insurance stops jerking us around about his medication that fixes his night sweating and other related problems, but we’re American, so can’t be helped.
It just seems like a lot of trouble when you can buy a blanket idk.
Honestly, I’m the one paying for a subscription service that doesn’t help (insurance), so I guess I’m the clown here.
tbh until I read ur comment I just assumed this was a shitpost tweet making fun of the state of consumer electronics, not a real product
I bought a gleeb for my glibben needs but it has no interoperability with floob, so I bought an adaptor from Amazon with a weird brand name made of plastic… etc etc
Just buy a blanket…?

What makes you so confident they’d change their minds later and go against those values? Do you know them personally? Do you have a crystal ball to gaze into the future?
Ecco the dolphin@lemmy.mltoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Can't believe how greedy these disabled veterans are, smh131·11 days agoI know someone who is 100% disabled and works a full time job. That job sucks, frankly. People look down on him for working in customer service, but his body is too broken to enter the trades, and his mental health is too poor to attend college (even though it would be free through the GI bill). I don’t even think he needs the money, he just wants to be “normal” and he doesn’t mind the work. He and his wife do not live lives of luxury and their kids seem happy.
He would not be able to support his family on this low-paid job he has. His wife also works.
Perhaps the problem isn’t disabled vets getting paid, maybe the problem is that we keep sending them out to die for oil. Maybe the problem is that life in America is hard for anyone who isn’t in the top 10%.
Germans have a word for this emotion: Schadenfreude (it’s difficult to pronounce you should click the video for pronunciation advice).
German engineering is amazing, they’re even incredible wordsmiths.
In the bottom right hand corner, you can see the words “tribute to a comic by BORS”. The comic artist’s website has this to say about this comic: “Tribute to that famous and cool comic by BORS”.
Its fine I guess? I think he should have linked to Matt Bors’s website (which is easily found on google) but whatever. It is a low effort MS paint comic, after all.

I got around it by making sure my bowser (librewolf) reported windows as my user agent. This was last semester for an online intro level course, ymmv
Edit: I see your other posts about how its not blocking access… Tbh I don’t remember checking, I just remember checking my browser settings haha. Guess I didn’t have to bother.
The folks who bought the Enron trademark/brand/whatever are a satire group that graduated into actually running a scam.
Originally when they started doing this Enron stuff, it was pretty funny. As I understand it, an unrelated group launched a cryptocurrency and scammed people using the name Enron that wasn’t affiliated.
Then in Feburary, the satire group scammed people with their own crypto coin. If you are ironically doing a scam, you’re still running a scam. Don’t give “Enron” attention.

Coffeezilla video on situation
NGL, the Enron hoodie Coffezilla has on looks pretty nice. The satire peeps should have just stuck to selling Enron merch.
