Edit: actually I just benchmarked it and containerized x86 Linux runs at like 40% of native speed. So yeah, that’s pretty freakin slow.
FWIW arm64 containers ran at nearly native speed, so it’s the x86 emulation that seems to be causing the slowdown.

You’re right to be skeptical, but on the other hand, Geohot has done some incredibly impressive things in the past. Like that time he livestreamed buying a new model of Corolla and updating the software on for the comma.ai self-driving hardware to work for it and immediately took it onto the highway.
Not breakfast, but I used to eat dinner with my neighbors allllll the time. They even used my fridge to keep extra food in when preparing for parties and stuff.
They make you sign into their support portal to view most of their documentation and download most of their software. That right there is a deal breaker for me because it violates the spirit of open source.
