For some reason I keep finding many posts missing while browsing through the app as opposed to the web browser.
I don’t have any user or instance blocked, am I missing something here?

I have now discovered that one of the users (who posts a lot) was banned instance-wide on Midwest.social, hence the differences.
Not a bug at all, sorry!
Have you tried resetting hidden posts?
