    I thought protesting was legal in the US but I guess that’s another thing people online say that has no basis in reality.

      It’s legal, with restrictions. And you can still get arrested for whatever reason if the cops feel the need to flex their authority. The cops will just release you without filing charges.

    What a contrast. I was at the Atlanta protest and there were no problems with the police at all, in fact they were supportive and guided our march across the city

    Maybe the difference between planned and unplanned? Not staying this is ok, I’m trying to come to grips with it as DeKalb is my county.
