Don’t think rubber bullets are harmless, but by definition, if a projectile has enough mass to hurt someone, deter them from what they are doing, and stay on target, that projectile can easily be deadly.
There is a reason they used the term “less lethal” and not “non-lethal” these days. When I was a kid, they very often would call these things non-lethal weapons. Which is insane, because anything can be lethal if used improperly.
It’s criminal that they never had him kill someone with the beer tab he sets down after using the tea cup in later movies, as an homage to that classic scene in Chronicles.
Yes, and there are so many cases of people being maimed or disfigured by these things.
A muzzle loader’s cotton wad is perfectly deadly, there are multiple stories of people dying from blank shots.
