Is this the black plastic thing again? I thought it was debunked.
From what I understood it wasn’t totally debunked: It’s still bad for you (especially the black stuff) but not nearly as bad as they initially thought because the researched made some sort of miscalculation.
Any amount of bad is still not good of course.
Just avoid plastic where possible tbh

What a time to be aliveJust use wood and stainless steel. Both are inexpensive and should be pretty safe.
If you want extra safety, ditch your nonstick teflon type stuff for stainless steel, cast iron, enamel, and/or carbon steel for your pots and pans.
Glass is also fantastic for storage. Bernardin/mason jars last literally forever and they’re pretty easy to get used.

We switched to bamboo spatulas and cutting boards. They aren’t very expensive and you can buy them in Asian supermarkets.

I’m in Asia and been using my wooden/bamboo spatulas and cutting boards for about 15 years, and they’re still going strong!
We haven’t had them for more than a year yet, but so far they’ve been holding up pretty well.
Yes. Undoubtedly.
I got rid of all the plastic in my kitchen a few months ago. It’s surprising how little it changed cooking for me.
